İsmet Yazıcı joined Turkcell Corporation in 2009. Between years 2009 and 2010 Mr. Yazıcı worked as an Assistant- General Manager at the Global Tower Sales and Business Development Department. In 2010 he was promoted to the General Manager of the same department. In 2011 Mr. Yazıcı became the General Manager of Turkcell's Belarus brand BeST. On 18th of December 2015 Mr. Yazıcı was appointed the General Manager of KKTCELL.
Ismet Yazıcı started his career in Nortel Corporation. He was a research and development engineer in the company. He served as a liaison engineer between the Turkish branch and US branch. Between 1993 and 1995 Mr. Yazıcı became an international sales engineer for the company's Turkish branch. In 1995 Mr. Yazıcı was appointed as the Regional Manager for Romania. In year 1999 Mr. Yazıcı became Product Marketing Manager for Nortel Corporation in Richardson, Texas.
Between 2003 and 2006 Mr. Yazıcı became the CDMA Business Development Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. In 2006 Mr. Yazıcı was appointed Corporate Solutions Sales Leader responsible for Turkey.
Ismet Yazıcı received a Bachelor Degree in Electric and Electronics Engineering from Hacettepe University in 1992. In 1998 Mr. Yazıcı received a Master's Degree in Political Science from the Marmara University. In 2001 Mr. Yazıcı received a Master's Degree in International Marketing and Management from Texas University. Finally Mr. Yazıcı received his second Bachelor Degree in Law from University of Istanbul.
